Resident Evil Vendetta

Yesterday  I did watch Resident Evil Vendetta. It is an animated movie. It has Kevin Dorman, Matthew Mercer, Erin Cahill, John DeMita, Fred Tatasciore, and Cristina Valenzuela.

Warning: there is lots of violence and one sad part.

Again, no Alice. They really do need to make an animated Alice movie. But Chris Redfield, Leon, and Rebecca Chambers are in this movie.

In this movie, Chris Redfield was tracking down an arms dealer who had a bio weapon. The arms dealer’s name is Glenn Arias. He was also tracking a missing woman and her kid. Arias though got to the woman and kid first and make them into zombies. Yes, zombies this time. The difference though the zombies knew the difference between foe and enemy. Chris enlists the aid of Leon and Rebecca to find Arias and stop the virus from spreading.

I liked this movie. Next week I’m watching Hitman.

Resident Evil: Damnation

I watched Resident Evil: Damnation yesterday. It is an animated movie. It has Matthew Mercer, Courtenay Taylor, Val Tasso, Wendee Lee, and Dave Wittenberg in it.

Warning: there is lots of violence and one sad part.

This movie doesn’t have Alice in it. They need to make an animated Alice movie. Anyway, Leon and Ada Wong is in it. In this movie, Leon is in the Eastern Slav Republic to find out about some biohazard weapons. He is actually ordered to get out of the country, but he refuses to leave. He meets two freedom fighters. He helps them to fight the “creatures.” They aren’t zombies, they are dog-like creatures. Leon and Ada Wong find out the president of that country used it on her people. (I never of a president that can fight. She can fight. )

I liked this movie. Next week I’m watching Resident Evil: Vendetta.

Resident Evil: Degeneration

I watched Resident Evil: Degeneration yesterday. It is an animated movie. It has Paul Mercier, Alyson Court, Laura Bailey, Roger Craig Smith, and Michael Sorich.

I thought Alice was going to be in this movie. But sadly no. I miss Alice. This movie has Claire and Leon though. After Raccoon City is blown up, Claire goes to Harvardville airport. She finds out the T-Virus has spread again. She teams up with Leon and some officers to find the zombies. She also finds out a scientist had the G-Virus too. A protester uses the G-Virus on himself.

I did like this movie. Next week I’m watching Resident Evil: Damnation.

Resident Evil: The Final Chapter

For my Resident Evil marathon, I sadly watched the last movie. Although the ending kinda hinted that there could be other movies. It was nice ending anyway. But I’m a little confused about it. I’ll explain below. The movie has Milla Jovovich, Iain Glen, Ali Larter, Eoin Macken, William Levy, and Ever Anderson in it.

In Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, Alice is asked by the Red Queen to go the hive again because there is an antivirus. (I forgot to say that there is a plot hole at the beginning. Alice says the doctor who made the T-Virus was killed by Dr. Isaacs at his home. But in the second movie, the doctor was killed by Isaacs outside. And the little girl was taken by Alice.) She is on a time limit to get to the hive. Once she gets to the hive, the Red Queen tells her about the big plan Umbrella Corp had planned. They were using the T-virus to cleanse the earth. They planned to freeze themselves and renew the earth after the cleansing. Dr. Isaacs got out the freezing cell to stop Alice. Sadly Alice learns she is just a clone of the girl that was supposedly healed by the T-virus. Alice does get the antivirus and releases it. She is not killed by the antivirus.

What I’m confused about is it doesn’t show that the zombies return to normal. It looked like they died. So didn’t Umbrella Corp get what they wanted?

I did like the movie. Next week I’m watching two movies. I’m watching Idiocracy and Jack Reacher: Never Go Back.

Resident Evil: Retribution

For my Resident Evil marathon, I watched Resident Evil: Retribution. I never have seen this one. It has Milla Jovovich, Michelle Rodriguez, Boris Kodjoe, Bingbing Li, Aryana Engineer, Oded Fehr, and Sienna Guillory.

In Resident Evil: Retribution, Alice is thrown overboard on the ship. Then suddenly she is a housewife who doesn’t fight. She has a daughter. Rain and some others were “alive.” The housewife Alice gets killed. The real Alice wakes up. She is told she is a testing building. (The testing building is really cool, by the way. I know they are the bad guys, but still.) A rescue team was hacking in to rescue Alice. Alice discovers the daughter of the housewife Alice. She brings her along. Later on, they discover the clones of Alice and the little girl. Alice also learns the Red Queen is controlling the testing building. It is also revealed how the virus spread around the world. It was sold to leaders around the world. Alice and the little girl do get out, but they found out the Red Queen is controlling the outside too.

I will be a little sad next week because I’m watching the last Resident Evil movie.

Resident Evil: Afterlife

For my Resident Evil marathon, I watched Resident Evil: Afterlife. It is the fourth movie of the movie series. It has Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, Kim Coates, Spencer Locke, Boris Kodjoe, and Wentworth Miller.

In Resident Evil: Afterlife, Many Alices take over the Umbrella Corp headquarters. Sadly they were killed in an explosion by the head of Umbrella Corp.who gets on a helicopter. The real Alice is on the helicopter too. He sadly makes her human again which is sorta a good thing. She goes to Alaska to see if Claire and the others are ok. She finds Claire with no memory. They go to LA and find other survivors and they tell them that Alaska was the safe haven. It’s a ship. The survivors have a prisoner which turns out to be Claire’s brother. (Wentworth Miller who plays him is on the show Prison Break. On the movie, he breaks them out of prison too. By the way, he’s so cute.) Later on, they find out the ship is run by Umbrella Corp. They rescue the others, but then more Umbrella Corp people come.

Next week I’m taking a small break to watch Before I Fall. After that, I will watch Resident Evil: Retribution.

Resident Evil: Extinction

For my Resident Evil marathon, I watched Resident Evil: Extinction yesterday. I do remember seeing most of this movie, but I didn’t remember seeing the ending. The Resident evil movie series is based on the video game. It has Milla Jovovich, Oded Fehr, Ali Larter, Spencer Locke, and Linden Ashby in it. Big Warning: there is lots of violence and one sad part. In Resident Evil: Extinction, the Umbrella Corp makes copies of Alice. The reason is because they lost track of her. She had hacked into the satellite system. She does it again when they try to get her to shut down. She decides to join the convoy that

One of the head of Umbrella Corp gets bit by one of the hybrids and he is finally killed by the AI little girl.

By the way, my mother thought the song I can’t remember, but then she forgot the name of it too. Hopefully I will be able to name it on here next week. Next week I’m watching Resident Evil: Afterlife.

Resident Evil: Apocalypse

For my Resident Evil marathon, I watched Resident Evil: Apocalypse. There are six movies in the series. It has Milla Jovovich, Sienna Guillory, Oded Fehr, Jared Harris, and Sophie Vavasseur in it.

In Resident Evil: Apocalypse, it shows what happens when the team reopens The Hive and how the virus got out. A doctor who made the virus called Alice and some others to get them to save his daughter. His daughter had been injected with a different strain of the virus was made her be able to walk again. Alice also was injected with the virus was made her superhuman. They rescued the little girl, but another team of the Umbrella Corp. captured them. They made Alice and Max fight. Alice and the others got away, but the helicopter crashed. Alice was captured again and made into more superhuman.

I don’t think I had seen the first of this movie. I did remember the middle and end of the movie. Next week I’m watching Resident Evil: Extinction.

Resident Evil

For my Resident Evil marathon, I watched the first one. I couldn’t remember how the virus got out. All I could remember was the ending of the movie. That’s why I wanted to see all of them again. It has Milla Jovovich, James Purefoy, Michaela Dicker, and Michelle Rodriguez in it.

There are two songs that remind me of this movie. One song I’ll put the video below. The other song I can’t remember the name of it. If anyone knows please tell me. It’s an alternative song with the phase let sleeping dogs lie. It’s not a new song. I think it’s a 90’s song.

Anyway, the movie is based on the video games. I had once thought about getting Chris the video games. The movie and video games are about a company called Umbella Corp. They are into bioengineering pharmaceuticals. They made a virus in an underground lab called The Hive. There was a serious “accident” that caused the virus to get in the air system. The computer named Red Queen shut down the lab. Alice wakes up not knowing who she is. Later she remembers talking to a woman named Lisa. Lisa was wanting the virus to expose Umbella Corp. Alice said she could get her the virus. Her “husband” overheard the conversation and took it upon himself to take down the company. But the virus has a bad side effect of making people into zombies. A team was sent to shut down the computer. Bad mistake which causes the zombies to be released, and another team releases them to the world.

Even though I don’t like zombie movies or shows, I do love Resident Evil. Next week I’m watching Resident Evil: Apocalypse.
