The Forever Purge

I watched The Forever Purge. I had seen the other Purge movies and the tv series. I had forgotten that they made a new one until I saw an ad of another Purge and looked it up to see if I had seen it and remembered that I hadn’t seen this one. It has Ana de la Reguera, Tenoch Huerta, Josh Lucas, Leven Rambin, Cassidy Freeman, Will Patton, and Gregory Zaragoza.

Big Warning: there is lots of violence and one sad part.

In this movie, a woman named Adela and her husband sneak into Texas from Mexico. Her husband works for a ranger. She works in a kitchen. Then the Purge day comes. Her husband and other workers are given a bonus to keep safe. Purge happens and they go to a building to wait. Nothing really happens (I kept thinking that the ranger’s son was going to go out to kill Adela, but it doesn’t happen). The next morning everything is supposed to go back to normal. But things don’t happen that way. A group of people continues the Purge. Saying it’s the Forever Purge. One of the ranger’s workers kills the ranger and Adela’s husband kills the killer and saves the ranger’s family. Adela almost gets killed but is saved by a co-worker. She is taken into custody, but she later meets up with her husband. They all decide to try to make it to Mexico. They do make it with some help.

I liked this movie. I have read that there might be a new one after this one. Next week I’m watching Vacation.

The First Purge

I watched The First Purge yesterday. It is the fourth movie in the Purge movie saga. It has Y’lan Noel, Lex Scott Davis, Joivan Wade, Mugga, Patch Darragh, Marisa Tomei, Rotimi Paul, and Steve Harris.

Warning: there is lots of violence.

This movie is the prequel. So they select Staten Island as the place to do their “experiment.” It wasn’t really a success. There was only person killing and it was a crazy guy. So the NFFA (New Founding Fathers of America) brought in missionaries to help make it a success. This should have told them that people don’t really want to kill other people.

I did like this movie. I can’t wait until tonight for the tv show. I’m taping it and watching it tomorrow. Next week I’m watching Solo. It’s a robot movie.

Purge: Election Year

I had watched the two other Purge movies when I visited my mother. I liked them and I couldn’t wait to see this third one. So I watched it yesterday. It has Frank Grillo, Elizabeth Mitchell, Mykelti Williamson, Joseph Julian Soria, Betty Gabriel, Terry Serpico, and Edwin Hodge in it.

Warning: there is lots of violence and some cussing.

In this third Purge movie, the cop Leo is back. He has taken up the task to protect the senator at all costs. She had survived the purge before and was determined to put an end to the annual Purge. The NFFA didn’t like her radical thinking so they changed the rules of the Purge where no one is safe. They planned on killing her. In the end, she survived again and won the election race. But the NFFA supporters were causing chaos afterwards.

I really liked this movie.I hope they make a fourth movie. I would like to see either a prequel or to see what happens next. I’m watching next week Left Behind (the new version)(I will be seeing the old version after next week)
