City of Heavenly Fire

Over the weekend, I finished listening to City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare. It is the sixth and last book of The Mortal Instruments (Shadowhunters) book series. I did like the book, but I didn’t like the guy’s voice that read it.

In City of Heavenly Fire, Sebastian has an army of endarkened shadowhunters. He has taken over a demon realm called Edom. Jace and Clary try to be careful because of the heavenly fire in him. Simon gets kidnapped by the insane girl he made into a vampire. He gets rescued by another vampire. Then Clary’s mother and others are kidnapped by Sebastian and the fairies. Jace, Clary, Simon, Isabelle, and Alec go to the demon realm to rescue them. Jace and Clary had a plan which surprises everyone. Clary kills Sebastian with Heavenly Fire in her sword. But then Simon gets his memory erased by a demon. But at the end, he remembers some and he might become a shadowhunter.

After this book, I started listening to Soul Harvest by Tim Lahaye and Jerry B. Jenkins. I’m posting about that book in a few mins.

You can get this book at Wordery.com, Downpour.com, and Kobo.com.
