King Arthur

I watched King Arthur. I had taped it when it was on Flix. It has Clive Owen,
Stephen Dillane, Keira Knightley, Ioan Gruffudd, Ray Winstone, Stellan Skarsgård, Ray Stevenson, and Ivano Marescotti in it.

Big Warning: there is lots of violence and it is a very sad movie.

In this movie, Arthur is a commander of some knights. They fight for Rome and the pope for many years. Many of the knights had died. They want to be free from fighting, but the pope wants them to do one last mission. The pope wants them to rescue a boy from the danger of the Saxons. They end up doing the mission. They go the village and discover a bishop had enslaved the people of the village and locked up a woman and her son. Arthur frees the woman and her son. The woman is Guinevere. She ends up killing the Bishop. They do end up killing the Saxons, but some more of the knights die. They do receive their freedom, but it was a waste (in my opinion).

I didn’t really like this movie. Next week I’m watching Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
