Django (1966)

I watched Django yesterday. I had taped it when it was on Sony movie channel. I watched it on the Roku free channel. I think I have seen it before. It has Franco Nero, José Bódalo, Loredana Nusciak, Ángel Álvarez, and Eduardo Fajardo in it.

Warning: there is lots of violence. Warning 2: the song will get stuck in your head. It is now stuck in mine.

In this movie, a stranger named Django is walking with a coffin trailing behind. (This reminds me of the movie Once Upon A Time in Mexico. I loved that movie.) Django sees a woman being beaten by Mexicans. He just watches until the general’s men kill them. Then he kills the general’s men. He saves the woman and goes into the town with the coffin trailing behind. He has a plan to able to kill the general and his men. The woman does get killed and Django gets badly hurt by the Mexicans for stealing the gold, but he does manage to kill the general.

I liked this movie. Next week I’m watching Django (2017). No, it’s not the same movie.
