I watched The Weather Man yesterday. I taped it when it was on Showtime. It has Nicolas Cage (love him), Michael Caine (loved him), Hope Davis, Nicholas Hoult, Michael Rispoli, Judith McConnell, Gemmenne de la Peña, and Gil Bellows in it.
Warning: there is a hint of sexual assault and some sad parts.
In this movie, a man named Dave Spritz is a weather man for a local television station. He has two kids and an ex-wife. He is desperate to get back with his wife, but he doesn’t make it happen. He also tries to connect with his kids more, but he misses a few key things with his kids. His dad is also sick. He ponders how he got in the mess he got himself into. He ends up accepting a better job and still sees his kids.
I did like this movie. Next week I’m watching Poinsettias For Christmas.
