The month of March

Happy March!!

I did have a good birthday last Monday. Chris did come down and we saw Fantasy Island. Then Saturday I went shopping with my best friend.

This Saturday we change the clocks again. Spring Forward.

March 10th I’m going to get may haircut again. I’m also going to dye my hair again. I bought some hair dye on Amazon.

March 15th Westworld comes back on HBO!! I don’t have HBO, but I will tape the first episode if I get HBO on free preview that day.

March 17th St. Patrick’s Day. I’m giving Lily a treat that day.

Then later this month Lily is going to the vet. If she does good at the vet, she will get an extra treat.

Crossword Mysteries: Proposing Murder

I watched Crossword Mysteries: Proposing Murder yesterday. I taped it when it was on Hallmark Movies and Mysteries. It has Lacey Chabert, Brennan Elliott, John Kapelos, Barbara Niven, Janet Porter, Alex Paxton-Beesley, and
Kyle Buchanan in it.

Big Warning: there is a little bit of violence.

In this movie, Tess helps a friend with a marriage proposal by giving clues in a crossword puzzle. She then learns that her friend is murdered. She learns that he had been keeping a huge secret that cost him his life.

I liked this movie even though it was sad. Next week I’m watching Gourmet Detective Mysteries: Roux the Day. Wednesday I’m watching Fantastic Beasts and where to Find Them.

Crossword Mysteries: Arbracadaver

I watched Crossword Mysteries: Arbracadaver last Monday. I taped it when it was on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. It has Lacey Chabert, Brennan Elliott, John Kapelos, Barbara Niven, Romaine Waite, Genevieve Kang, Noam Jenkins, Kaitlyn Leeb, Cynthia Preston, and Chris Handfield in it.

Warning: there is a little bit of violence.

In this movie, Tess is taking magic lessons at a magic mansion for a crossword puzzle that is working on about magic. She attends a magic show for her birthday and the magician is supposedly killed during one of the tricks. Laster it turns out the magician is alive and he had killed his girlfriend’s husband and they were running away together.

I loved this movie. Today I watched Crossword Mysteries: Proposing Murder. Next week I’m watching Gourmet Detective Mysteries: Roux the Day. Wednesday I’m watching Fantastic Beasts and where to Find Them.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

I finished listening to Harry Potter and the Deathly Harrows by J K Rowling. It is the last book of the Harry Potter book series. There are seven books in the Harry Potter book series.

Since most people have seen the movies and read the books, here’s a quick summary. Harry and his friends decide not to go back to school and go out searching for the horcruxes.  They also receive gifts from Dumbledore which help them with the quest. Ron gets mad and storms off, but then he comes to Harry’s aid. They discover about a tale that is actually true and the tale helps them in their quest. Harry learns more about Dumbledore and Snape. He defeats Lord Voldemort.

Differences between the movies (part 1 and 2) and the book:

  1. Harry does celebrate his birthday for few short minutes in the book.
  2. Harry finds a baby picture of himself and a letter from his mother in Regulus Arcturus Black’s room.
  3. They don’t stun all three employees of the ministry of magic in the book. One is made sick which causes them to be revealed.
  4. There a lot of differences of some things spoken in the book and some things in the movie.
  5. Ron doesn’t get the radio until he reconnects with them later on in the book.
  6. Harry and Hermione doesn’t dance in the book.
  7. Harry tells the secrets to Lord Voldmort in the book when they are dueling.
  8. Harry doesn’t destroy the wand at the end of book like in the movie. He tells Dumbledore that he will put it back where it came from.

I loved this book. I’m going to reading next Affliction by Laurell K Hamilton. It is the twenty second book of Anita Blake book series.
