I watched Fifty Shades Freed yesterday. It is based on the third book of the Fifty Shades of Grey book series by E.L. James. I read all three books. I taped the movie when it was on HBO. It has Dakota Johnson, Jamie Dornan, Eric Johnson, Eloise Mumford, Rita Ora, Luke Grimes, and Marcia Gay Harden in it.
Warning: there is lots of sex scenes.
In this movie, Christian and Ana get married. They go their honeymoon, but it’s interrupted short because someone did damage at Christian’s work. It was Jack Hyde behind it. Jack was once Ana’s boss. He had attacked her and Christian bought Jack’s publishing company. Jack was mad that he was fired, and he couldn’t have Ana. But the anger goes deeper than that. It is revealed in the movie (and the book) that Jack was living in the same foster house Christian was at when he was real little. Jack ends up kidnapping Mia, Christian’s sister. Ana gets money for the ransom. Ana also finds out she is pregnant. (In the book she has two kids. One boy and one girl.) Ana shoots Jack in the leg and Christian comes to rescue Ana and Mia.
I did like the movie. Next week I’m watching Casanova. I think I have seen it before.
