I finished listening to A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L’Engle. It is the first book in the Time Quintet book series.
In this book, a girl named Meg who is very bright (gifted) gets ridiculed in school because her father had gone missing. Her father is a scientist. He is sent on mission wherehe gets lost in space. Meg’s little brother is different too. He had met some interesting people. Meg and her brother go meet this interesting people one day. While going there, they meet up with Calvin (a boy who is different too.). Those interesting people tell them they can find Meg and her brother’s father. So they take a wild journey through time and space. They end up finding her fatheron a dark planet. Her brother gets sucked into the brain of the planet. Meg saves her brother.
I loved this book. I have the third book of the book series on hold. I’m reading next Dark Places by Gillian Flynn.
