Bulletproof Monk

I watched  Bulletproof Monk yesterday. It is a martial arts movie, but it’s also based on a comic book. It has Yun-Fat Chow, Seann William Scott, Jaime King, Karel Roden, Victoria Smurfit, and Mako in it.

Warning: there is some violence in it.

In this movie, a monk who is nameless becomes a protector of a scroll. The scroll is supposed to very powerful. A Nazi wants the scroll so he can finish what Hitler started. The monk protects the scroll for 60 years. 60 years later, he runs into a guy named Kar. Kar meets a girl named Jade. They both become friends with the monk and help the monk defeat the Nazi. They both end up being the protectors of the scroll.

I liked this movie. There were rumors of a sequel, but I don’t think it was made.Next week I’m watching The Lone Ranger (with Johnny Depp).
