Resident Evil: Damnation

I watched Resident Evil: Damnation yesterday. It is an animated movie. It has Matthew Mercer, Courtenay Taylor, Val Tasso, Wendee Lee, and Dave Wittenberg in it.

Warning: there is lots of violence and one sad part.

This movie doesn’t have Alice in it. They need to make an animated Alice movie. Anyway, Leon and Ada Wong is in it. In this movie, Leon is in the Eastern Slav Republic to find out about some biohazard weapons. He is actually ordered to get out of the country, but he refuses to leave. He meets two freedom fighters. He helps them to fight the “creatures.” They aren’t zombies, they are dog-like creatures. Leon and Ada Wong find out the president of that country used it on her people. (I never of a president that can fight. She can fight. )

I liked this movie. Next week I’m watching Resident Evil: Vendetta.

Maximum Ride Forever

I finished listening to Maximum Ride Forever by James Patterson. It is the last book of the Maximum Ride book series.  There are nine books in the series.

Warning: there are several sorta sad parts and one sad part.  Warning 2: there is some violence.

In this book, Max and the bird kids discover they need to leave the Island. Dylan went out to get the water jugs but never came back.  They thought he was dead.  They found one of his shoes. Angel kept saying they need to go to Russia, but Max was too stubborn. She wanted to go back to the Island to find her mother and half-sister. Angel showed Fang what will happen to him. Fang went to CA to find info. Iggy and the Gasman went to find a blogger in the west. Max and Nudge went back to the Island. Max learns her mother and half-sister is dead.  Then most of the flock were “killed” by a “horseman.” Later on, Fang finds Dylan alive, but Fang dies.  They all learn who is behind the destruction of the world and the attacks of the flock.

I sorta liked this book. It did have a great ending though. Now I’m reading Odd Interlude by Dean Koontz. It is the fifth book of the Odd Thomas book series.

Odd Hours

I finished reading Odd Hours by Dean Koontz. It is the fourth book of the Odd Thomas book series. There are nine books in the series. Big Warning: there is some violence. This book was slow at first, but it got very interesting later on. I understood later on why this book is called Odd Hours. In this book, Odd is drawn to a beach town called Magic Beach. He has a weird and troubling dream about a red tide and a woman he calls Lady Bell. He later learns her name is Annamaria. He promises her that he will protect her. She is supposedly pregnant. She knows his name and who he is. But she won’t tell him much about herself. When he takes her to another woman’s house for a safe hideout, there was talk of time travel. (I think she is a time traveler.) He tries to stop some guys from blowing up cities with bombs.

I liked this book. I hope she appears later in the series to explain who she is. Now I’m going to listen to Maximum Ride Forever by James Patterson. It is the last book of the Maximum Ride book series.

You can get this book at Amazon.com, Wordery.com, Kobo.com, and Downpour.com.

Sad news and other stuff

Happy Black Friday!!

I had posted earlier that one of my cousins had cancer. He died a few days ago. His funeral is tomorrow.

Yesterday I went to my great-aunt’s house. Her house, as usual, was beautifully decorated. (I don’t decorate until today and I did this morning.)

I did order the calendars And my best friend’s calendar might be here tomorrow. Early this morning I got Chris’ hoodie, and some other stuff.

Resident Evil: Degeneration

I watched Resident Evil: Degeneration yesterday. It is an animated movie. It has Paul Mercier, Alyson Court, Laura Bailey, Roger Craig Smith, and Michael Sorich.

Warning: there is lots of violence.

I thought Alice was going to be in this movie. But sadly no. I miss Alice. This movie has Claire and Leon though. After Raccoon City is blown up, Claire goes to Harvardville airport. She finds out the T-Virus has spread again. She teams up with Leon and some officers to find the zombies. She also finds out a scientist had the G-Virus too. A protester uses the G-Virus on himself.

I did like this movie. Next week I’m watching Resident Evil: Damnation.

Nevermore

I finished listening to Nevermore by James Patterson. It is the eighth book of the Maximum Ride book series. It says this is the last book of the series, but there are nine books in the series. I have the last book on hold.

Warning: there is some violence.

In this book, Angel wasn’t dead. She had been tied up and experimented on. She thought they tore out her wings and she was blind. But later Max tells her that she was fine. Angel discovered that Max’s mother and Jeb were there in the lab with her. Jeb brought his son back to life. He got really obsessed with killing Fang. Supposedly Fang’s DNA  held the secret to immortality Then Dylan went crazy and decided to kill Fang. Max stopped him. Max’s mother came and she explained that she was brainwashed like everyone else. She takes the bird kids to an island. Max’s mother tells them that the toxic gas had been released. For the bird kids to be safe, there were caves that led to underground. Then Dylan came to the island to say there was a fireball headed their way and for all of them to get to the caves. Max and Fang don’t listen to him or Angel. They end up surviving the fireball, but there was a huge tidal wave headed for them. Max thought she had died. But Dylan saved her. The earth is new again.

I did like this book. Now I’m reading Odd Hours by Dean Koontz. It is the fourth book of the Odd Thomas book series.

Problems

I didn’t get the calendars yesterday. I had requested a Visa gift card from Earn Honey last Wednesday. I should have got the e-card yesterday, but I didn’t get the email. So I wrote them this morning and they said it has been delayed and flagged for further review. So I will either get the calendars later today or tomorrow.

Also, I couldn’t get to my email for awhile yesterday. Yes, I still have an AOL email account. I think the AOL add-on was messing up. I found out I could be a guest on Chrome and got my email. I deleted the add-on this morning.

The only thing good I guess is that my eye appointment went well. I didn’t get the pink glasses I wanted, but I did get some really nice ones. They are supposed to be ready by December 2 or sooner.

This weekend and beyond

Tomorrow I have that eye appointment that I was supposed to have had last week. I can’t wait.

I thought I would have a 5 dollar gift card this weekend so I can go ahead and get a calendar for me and my best friend. But EarnHoney’s meter missed up and I have to get the calendars on Monday. I thought I would try to get my calendar today, but the gift cards I have right now don’t cover it.

I changed my mind on the hoodie I’m getting Chris. I’m getting him another hoodie that I think he will like, but it’s a little bit more than the one I had thought about getting him. I hope to get it next Friday. It maybe be less by then.

Angel

I finished listening to Angel by James Patterson. It is the seventh book of the Maximum Ride book series.  There are nine books in the book series.

Warning: there is some violence and one sorta sad part.

In this book, Max and the other bird kids discover a new movement happening. It is kids wanting to kill all the adults. They were brainwashed. Max learns that her mother might not be the good person she seems. Her mother and Jeb go missing too.  One of the bird kids is brainwashed. Max and the others learn that a hot shower deprograms the brainwashing. Max also learns that one of Fang’s group also deprograms the brainwashing with her power. Fang’s group and Max’s group team up to fight the new movement. Angel tries to go undercover. She learns about bombs and toxic gas under the city.  The two groups try to get many people to safety, but the bombs go off.

I sorta liked this book. Now I’m listening to Nevermore by James Patterson. It is the eighth book of the Maximum Ride book series.

Fang

I finished listening to Fang by James Patterson. It is the sixth book of the Maximum Ride book series. There are nine books in the book series.

Big Warning: there is some violence and one sad part.

In this book, Max and the other bird kids go to Chad in Africa. They are supposed to helping the movement with giving medical supplies to the people of Chad. While there, they meet a doctor who is experimenting with people trying to make them hybrids.  Max and Angel meet a guy named Dylan. He is a clone and he is a bird kid. (I think he is the clone of the guy in the previous book named Dylan.) Anyway, Max and the other bird kids leave Chad. Max and Fang make it known that they are a couple which makes Max lose her leadership skills. The flock notices this change and they make Angel leader and boot Max out. Then the bird kids get very sick. The scientists that work for the doctor in Chad put something in their water. Max and Fang return. Angel reveals that she wants to help the doctor with his research. Fang goes to the doctor to find out what really is going on.  The Doctor “accidentally” kills Fang, but Max brings him back to life. Fang then leaves the flock for good.
